Duplex Round Bar
Duplex is a dual microstructure of austenitic and ferritic grade products. The Duplex Round Bar is designed with a superior composition of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum with other constituting alloys. Designed with a circular cross sectional area, the Duplex Steel Round Bar has enhanced resistance against corrosive and oxidative media in an array of stress-induced setups. The high-strength UNS S31803 Round Bar is used to support and brace different applications. These bars are designed to work in temperatures between -50 degrees F and as high as 600 degrees F. The Duplex 2205 Round Bar shows twice the strength of any other austenitic grades of round bars. These bars have a lower thermal expansion rate and can be annealed at temperatures of 1900 degrees F. ASTM A479 Duplex Rounds are non-pressurized components that showcase good workability and weldability. These rounds have excellent mechanical properties. They are designed with a minimum tensile strength of 620mpa with a minimum yield strength of 450mpa and can be readily elongated by 30% in the system.
A Duplex Stainless Steel Flat Bar is designed in a rectangular cross-sectional area. These bars are a common feature in an array of structural applications. The versatile DSS Flat Bar exhibits a density of 7.8 g/cm3 and has a melting range of 1440 degrees C. These robust bars typically have a hardness of 32 RC max. A Duplex hex bar like the name suggests is a six-sided bar that gives the bar extra space for movement as compared to other shapes in the duplex grade. The robust ASTM A276 Duplex Rods can be shaped in different shapes and sizes to meet all customer requirements.
